Our Mission Statement

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me,”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25‬:‭35‬ ‭

Our mission is to empower individuals, and families experiencing homelessness to achieve self-sufficiency and stability through compassionate support, comprehensive resources, and advocacy for systemic change.

This mission statement encompasses the following key elements:

1. Empowerment: We believe in the potential of every individual and strive to create an environment that fosters self-worth, resilience, and the ability to overcome challenges.

2. Self-sufficiency: Our ultimate goal is to help individuals transition from homelessness to secure and stable housing, sustainable income, and overall well-being.

3. Compassionate Support: We provide our services with empathy, understanding, and respect for the dignity of each individual.

4. Comprehensive Resources: We help individuals in a wide range of services, with our many resources available, which include, get them off the streets, emergency assistance,  employment training, refer to mental health counseling, and addiction recovery programs.

5. Advocacy for Systemic Change: We work to address the root causes of homelessness for each person we help.

6. Target population: Those who are on the verge of homelessness, the couch surfer, the person or family about to be evicted, the home owner whose house is in foreclosure.

Homeless individuals, families, veterans. The homeless in shelters, train stations, cars, woods, shopping centers, and campsites. Wherever the homeless are. We are committed to helping.

7. Geographic focus: We are a homeless outreach ministry working with the homeless in Nassau and Suffolk county, Long Island, New York.

8: Unique values: We bring the love of Jesus Christ to the homeless wherever they are, and offer that ever lasting love that Jesus provides to whoever will receive it.

9. Future goals: We have future goals to open up a full service homeless shelter.
