Yes. We accept both working and non-working vehicles. Each vehicle is used in the way that creates the greatest benefit for people experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless.

Most of the time we do not hand out cash to the homeless, there are on occasion exceptions to the rule. We still need money for many items and situations. Including but not limited to. If you are just moving to Suffolk County and you have no place to live and need a shelter, the department of Social Services will not help you. You will need to go homeless from an established address in Suffolk County long island before they will help you. There are other resources available for you please see our shelters page.
