Same here, I’ve noticed that too. It feels like a lot of games are now designed for short sessions instead of long playtimes. I think it’s because most people just don’t have the time anymore. I was reading something recently — https://techadaptor.com/blog/why-quick-mobile-games-keep-fitting-the-way-people-use-their-phones/ and it mentioned that games are becoming more focused on quick interaction and easy entry. Makes sense, because usually I just want something I can open instantly without thinking too much. I rarely stick with games that need long setup now.
