We are here today to talk about a cause close to our hearts: helping the homeless. Every day, countless individuals and families struggle with homelessness, facing challenges like hunger, lack of shelter, and limited access to essential resources.

While the problem might seem overwhelming, we can all be heroes by taking small steps together. That's why we need you to partner with homelesslongisland , an incredible organization dedicated to providing vital assistance to those in need.

Here's how you can join our mission and become a hero too:

Commit to donating just $1.00-10.00 a month.  This seemingly small amount adds up quickly when we come together. With your contribution, we can provide:

  • Warm meals: Even a simple hot meal can make a world of difference for someone experiencing hunger. Soup kitchens are not always Available. so many times whether it's the panhandler or just a homeless person hanging around. Most the time we hear the words, I AM HUNGRY. A simple meal is a most effective way of showing the love of Jesus.

  • Safe emergency  shelter: until we get a homeless person off the streets. Sometimes in extreme weather we feel it imperative to get a homeless person off the street. Whether it's to pay for a hotel room or a ride to one. Sometimes both. Sometimes we physically cannot give them a ride, so we send an Uber.

  • Life-saving resources: with the support of just $10 a month , you will help a homeless person that gets into one of many situations. Here is a few examples of what urgent matters pop up. We were able to get an elderly lady from western suffolk county to Maureen's haven in Riverhead to get her off the streets. We have helped with hot meals, hot drinks, breakfast, adult diapers, we were able to take an elderly lady living in Mastic to a family members house in Brooklyn The list goes on and on. Bottom line cash flow is needed. From hot drinks, busfare, to Uber rides and hotel rooms for a night. How do you say no to a homeless person or family in the streets or a car. Unfortunately we have to say no with a sorry afterwards, funds are simple not available.

Think about it:

  • $10 a month will provide essential necessities to help the homeless through each day wether it’s winter or summer. Along with and until we can get them off the streets.

  • By becoming a partner and donating to homeless long island a 10 dollar a month contributions makes a massive impact. On what we can do to help those living in the streets.

  • That’s the equivalent of left over change in your pocket at the end of each work day.
