There are many reasons why people pray, but some common ones are:

1.  Many people pray as a way to connect with The great I am, the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. The one and only Father, Son Jesus of Nazareth and Holy ghost. To ask for guidance, forgiveness, or blessings.

2. To express gratitude: Prayer can be a way to express gratitude for the good things in life, such as health, family, and friends.

3. To find peace and comfort: Prayer can provide comfort and peace during difficult times, such as illness, loss, or stress.

4. To seek help or guidance: People may pray to ask for help or guidance in making important decisions, solving problems, or dealing with challenges.

5. To strengthen faith: Prayer can be a way to strengthen one's faith and deepen their relationship with their higher power.
