A Prayer for Guidance and Shelter

When faced with the overwhelming challenges of homelessness, turning to prayer can be a source of comfort and strength. Here’s a prayer for guidance and support, along with uplifting Bible verses from the New Living Translation (NLT) to help you during this difficult time.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before You feeling lost and in need of Your guidance. My heart is heavy, and I urgently need a place to live. Please lead me to the resources and support I need to find a place to call home or a temporary shelter. I trust in Your love and provision, knowing that You care for me deeply.

In Jesus mighty name hear my prayer.

Bible Verses for Comfort and Hope:

1. Psalm 23:1-3 - "The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name."

2. Isaiah 41:10 - "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."

Lord, I ask for Your mercy and support during this time. Help me find a safe place to live and surround me with people who can assist me. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
