Into the wild.

Being homeless in the woods can be a challenging and often dangerous experience. Without access to basic necessities such as shelter, food, and water, living in the woods can be a difficult and uncertain existence. However, there are some strategies that can help make this lifestyle more manageable.

Firstly, finding a suitable location to set up camp is crucial. It should be somewhere that is relatively sheltered, with access to water and resources such as firewood. A good location would also provide some degree of privacy and protection from the elements.

Secondly, it is important to learn basic survival skills such as building shelter, starting a fire, and finding food and water sources. There are many resources available online and in books that can help teach these skills.

Thirdly, it is important to be aware of the potential dangers of living in the woods, such as wildlife, extreme weather conditions, and the risk of injury or illness. Having a first aid kit and knowing basic first aid procedures can be life-saving in emergency situations.

Finally, it is important to seek out assistance from local homeless services if available. These organizations can provide access to basic necessities such as food, shelter, and medical care, as well as support in finding more permanent housing solutions.

Living homeless in the woods can be a challenge if you go to deep into the woods, you will lack the resources available in local cities or towns. On the other hand if your to close to cities or towns your site will be subject to town demo or locals stealing and destroying your stuff.

On Long Island one of the biggest problems is ticks and the reality of getting lunes disease.

1 SAMUEL 2:8

“He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor. ‘For the foundations of the earth are the Lord’s; on them he has set the world.’”

God bless you.
